Replace the cap if its going into the overflow (the level rises over time). Also, if it goes into the reservior or oil under boost, that is a sign of a blown HG. Chances are though that is a slow leak, and those are hard to find becuase the stuff dries up before you see it. Look for that nasty green "dust" that coats aluminum parts where it leaks. First places to look are the two small lines to the throttle body (very common leak, cracked hoses), the two 5/8th heater hoses to the firewall (somewhat common, also small cracks, or loose clamps), and the small rubber lines to the oil cooler (behind the oil filter) and the 3 at the water neck/t stat housing (all subjected to the heat of the turbo/manifold etc and will dry out and crack). In fact, and this goes to anyone with one of the cars with a few miles on them, replace all of these lines with new ones. I've seen people get stranded for one blowing out, then a week later another one goes. Anotehr time, 4 DSMers came over to work on cars (including mine), and 3 ended up on a flatbed on the way home for bad coolant lines, lol. What are the odds of that

So dont replace just one, do them all
