why the Z series named Z?
Just wondering why the 240z, 300zx, and 350z have the Z in em. What makes them a z? My brother said it could be the tires, maybe all of them have z-rated racing tires, the best tires there are. He doesn't know though. Do any of you guys know?

letter to market. The same reason why radio stations and motorcycle companies use 'Z', and 'R', and 'X'. They look like fast letters...if there is such a thing.
