1956 Ford Victoria (Progress)

Here are some progress pics of this 1956 Ford Victoria. I am not really into building old cars but my Dad's 70th Birthday is coming up. This is the first car that he ever had. And since he collects die cast models I thought I would make this for him. I am also making a 1964 and 1970 Chevy Impala's for him. All cars that he use to have.

Well here is the 1956 Ford Vicoria: It is going to be White/Bright Red with some BMF on the trim. This is going to be a slow build since I have to wait for the paint to completly dry so I can mask the top and paint the bottom Bright Red.

I know that this is not what is usually posted on this forum but it is something different.

The first pic is what it is going to look like.

Looks like it's going to be fantastic. Did you open the doors on the kit, or did it come that way?

And who cares if it's not an import-- post it anyway! I, at least, like all cars.

The kit came with the doors open. But I do have to say it is a horrible kit. A lot of the pieces don't even fit together. I have to trim them or they will not go together. There are seam lines on just about every part. But I am trying to work with what I have since AMT/ERTL is the only company that makes the car.

Now that is something you dont see everyday! Did anyone on here play Motor City Online? It sort of died out when EA added Toyota Supras and Mitsubishi Eclipses, especially because they had 351 clevos in them

Maybe that's why the game got shut down last month, because of EA putting in new cars, plenty of games have new cars. The peopel who played MCO did it to play around with some classics. Oh well, when will EA learn?

Still, I hope to see this done! I really like the old Ford Tanks of the 50s fro cruisers.

I was an MCO player for about 6 months or so, too. Great game, very addictive... I had the same thought as you when I saw this thread! MCO gave me the inspiration to slowly build a '67 Camaro lately... takes me a while though since I'm out of town far too much!

Looking forward to seeing this beast built up! The engine is looking great.
