New engine for 1974 Coupe Deville
Hey,
I have just bought a Deville for $250. The engine is pretty shitty so I was thinking of getting a new one. Any suggestions? Also, could I put like a 454 or other similiar engine from chevy or ford? I also would like more power than the Deville comes with (somewhere in the neighbourhood of at least 2x the normal HP) Ebay has good complete motors so if its possible I will purchase one of those. Anyone know if a new engine is a good idea, and what kind to get? Thank You. |

I have a 1974 472 with 70k I just pulled out, seemed to run pretty good.
