Your factory fuel pump, injectors, fuel pressure regulator are way too small. No fuel means detonation and or so lean it burns the tops of the pistons.
The R33 has higher compression ratios factory to tolerate much boost over 1 bar for very long. Your factory pistons are weak and know for crushing the top ring land. Also factory conrod bolts are not the greatest either. The factory ecu will not allow you over 13psi before it hits a boost cut. Over riding that in some fashion is a recipiet for disaster.

if the fuel system (regulator, injectors, pump)is upgraded will the internals handle the power. the parts in question are on a front cut i am buying so i hope the works have already been done. what sort of price is it going to cost to change head gasket and rod bolts

Can you give a complete run down of what you want to do?

What intensions do you have for the car?

If all the parts are changed out, it will come down to the tune of the engine. That is what will make or break an engine.

Oh,

If you are going to do that to a GTSt, why not sell the darn thing and get a real Skyline
