New 5 Series!
Wanted to post this for all. My sister is a Director at a BMW store here in SoCal and BMW N/A brought a lot of dealer principals to Phoenix this week to test drive the new 5, an E-Class, Jaguar X and a Lexus GS on the track.
The 5 is lighter than the older body and is definitely the pick between all 4, with the E being second and Jag last. She says the I-Drive worked fine (hopefully the bugs are out for the 7s also) and that it looked great as a continuation of the body style of the 7 and soon to arrive new 6-Series.
The car drove tight and performed exceptional in every condition with better all around ride, brakes, suspension and engine. Looks like we win again and I'm looking forward to the 6 next year. May even have to trade in the 7 for that one!
