I have heard nothing but bad comments about them as well. I would definatley spend the cash on a real lsd tranny which will bolt right up and then you always have a spare sitting around.

Re: Re: Phantom Lsd

Sport Compact Car did an install on one of these phantom grips in their dodge neon. They only had good things to say about it. The price is way cheaper than an lsd. And the install is much simpler.

noooooo- dont use it. all it does is lock shit together in your tranny- making both wheels spin equally, ALL THE TIME. sound good, but physics says that while turning, one wheel has to travel more distance due to being on the outside of the turn and therefore must go faster than the other wheel- oh, guess what, it cant cause they are locked together by 2 little metal plates the size of a computer touchpad mouse- all it does is chew apart syncros and all kinds of shit in your tranny- its as cheap as it is for a reason...spend the money and get a real lsd, quaiffe,kaaz.....

I don't think it locks stuff together all the time. From what I've heard they are better than nothing but not as good as a real LSD.

how much would a quiaffe lsd cost? and how would you install it? could you do it yourself or would you have to have a shop put it in for you? if so, how much would it cost? sorry about all the questions. i don't know much about this topic. thanks in advance.
