Angry Fun Night

Ahh my night was filled with fun and joy. Left to go to my high school football game in Walla Walla (about 45-50 min away) with some friends and had a great time in which we (Kamiakin) won 24-0. Found my way around town pretty good and hit the road at about 10 or so.
Well about half way home thats when all hell broke loose for the most part. First of all my battery light came on, then slowly all my lights started getting dimmer (inside and outside lights) and then check engine light came on and about a couple minutes later after almost all my lights are out my car starts lugging and chugging and i pull over to the side of the road and i turn it off.
Well i end up callin my dad (luckily i was almost in town so it only took him about 10 min) and he comes and jumps me and we figure it is more than likely the alternator (considering i just had a new battery put in 3 days ago) so i have him drive my car and ill follow in his since if something goes wrong he could probably handle it better than I could. Well he decides do drive without his headlights since that if he has them on the car will chug and die so he is driving and i am right behind him in our Explorer and no more than 3 miles down the road he gets pulled over by a WA State Trooper for not having his lights on. Well I have had friends on weekend nights cruising without their lights on and they never get tickets or anything and guess what happens to my dad...well the trooper decides he should give him a ticket. But after this at least the cop was nice enough to offer him a tow truck or to tag it and we can pick it up in the daylight. So all in all...my car is on the side of a highway right now, my dad got a $101 ticket after explaining the whole story and trying to get the car off the highway, and i am getting a new alternator tomorrow. My life is great, lol.

that sucks...but it could have been worse. all i have to say is make sure you don't leave your car too long. there are dicks out there and i don't want to jinx anything with another word.

Well we left it there at 11:30pm about and got up early and me and my dad went out there and got it at 6am once it was barely light out so that we could drive it home. We didn't wanna leave it out there at all and 6 1/2 hours was bad enough, especially with my luck im surprised something else didn't happen. It's sittin at home right now though and everything is the way we left it, thank god.
