need a clutch!

hello everyone, my clutch is on it's way out, makes a grinding noise, i was told it mite be a loose bearing in the flywheel or something, doesnt make noise when in neutral or 3rd gear or higher..anyone have similar problem? also, im lookin for a good cheap clutch, something to get me thru the winter..any ideas??? thanks guys!

just type in 240sx on an ebay search and you'll find a bunch of cheap stock replacement clutches.

Whatever you decide to get, make sure you use the proper torque settings for tightening it down. If you don't then you may end up with this...


A pressure plate in about 100 pieces


A blown apart bellhousing


A downpipe smashed in half from a flying piece of a pressure plate.
