California Window Tint laws

Howdy,

I just found this forum today and it looked to be a pretty sweet, so here I am . Yesterday I received my very first car: a 1962 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Everything is in great condition, minus a small "baseball-sized" rip in the driver's left shoulder on the bench seat. With a new paint job the car would be show quality seeing as how almost ever part in it is orginial and looks great. However, instead of going the "stock restoration" route, I'm thinking something more along the lines of a "cruiser mod" type car, ie putting modern parts in (stereo, wheels, etc).

Now onto my question:

As far as window tint goes, what ARE the laws in California?

Thanks in advance
