High Output Alternators for 01 Civic EX
I'm wanting to get a HO alternator for my car. Everything that I've found so far only goes up to the 00 model. I've tried a number of online companies to no avail. Does anyone know if I can get one somewhere? Otherwise, can I utilize the 00 model's alternator as an alternative? I'm currenly in S.Korea so it's a little hard to just go down and ask someone here since my car is not Korean. I appreciate any information and help to guide me. Tks.

Call me stupid, but how does a car charge it's battery and run it's electrical system without an altenator? Is there some new technology out that changes that or something... or are new cars running on big ass D cell batteries that you have to change every so often?
Just wondering... ~AciD
