Question oil pressure sending unit

need to find the location a nd suggested tools to get my oil pressure unit on my 1999 chevy tahoe. rhe oil pressure gage is fluctuating, but not having any other signs of trouble. i'm told it could be the unit.

There is a oil sending unit socket usually sells for about $20 or less.
The unit is usually located towards the back of the motor. It maybe hidden by the distributor. It goes into the block right beside the distributor.

The unit is usually located on the left side of the engine down towards the bottom of the engine. Hope this information helps

Incorrect...the oil pressure sending unit is on the upper rear of the engine next to the distributor
