masking question

hello, i just have a quick masking question: (i will be using tamiya acrylics which are hand painted/applied) how long do i wait until i pull the tape off? Or does it even matter?

Hi theT,

Me again here. . lol

You want to remove your masking ASAP. Basically, shortly after your paint has tacked up and you can handle it with out leaving fingerprints.

If you leave it on too long you run the risk of the mask lifting the surrounding areas. If you take it off too soon and you run the risk of messing up a freshly painted masking job.
