There have been several V6s stuck into Mr2s, but I have never seen one that was done by Toyota.

With enough time and effort it is however not hard to make an aftermarket engine swap look as good as, or better than a factory fitment.

The most common V6 swaps into MR2s are 3.0 liter OE Toyota motors.
Coming from the Solara, Avalon, and Lexus ES300's.

Those V6 motors don't take up much more space than the Mk II turbo engines, so the engine looks real clean inside the bay.

I saw one a few weeks ago autocrossing with a 3.0 liter V6 with a TRD supercharger
Now that was some cool stuff.

Yeah, sure was.
It was at the DFW S2000 Club's autocross at the Mineral Wells airpark.
You know the guy, or just the car?
