ctr style lip looks painted dull

Last week i got my ctr style front lip put on and painted, sort of. As i got it painted i noticed that it didn't exactly match the stock Flamenco Black Pearl and i didn't expect it to. But if any of you guys have a black civic you obviously notice the side skirts aren't painted, instead they're like this dark black plastic. That's sort of what my front lip looks like, actually it matches perfectly with the side skirts but not the rest of the body. Is there anything i can add to it to get that shinny look? Clear coat?
Steps:
1. Washed and let dry
2. 2-3 coats of Bulldog Adhesive Promoter
3. 4-5 coats of Krylon Black Gloss spray paint

The side skirts look fine now with that black plastic that matches the rest of the black body, but would it be worth it to try to paint them just to get them to look shinny?

Yeah, try shooting them out with a high gloss clear coat, I can't remember if the Krylon #1301 clear coat is high gloss or not, but I think it is. Even if the color is kinda flat, that's the OG JDM look.

Question rear bumper and lip

I might run into a similar problem. i smashed up my rear bumper on my EK hatch so in the mail will soon be a CTR rear bumper and rear lip. only problem is they come painted championship white from the factory, and my car is whatever oem red color a 97 civic is painted. can i paint red right over the white paint? should i do this myself w/ rented goodies or take it to a shop to have it done? if i did that how much would they charge to color-match a bumper and lip? thanks guys.
