Fastest import

Ok, nobody at cardomain.com seems to know what they're talking about, and all discussions turn into attacks on each other, so... Maybe I can get a straight answer here. People on cardomain.com are claiming to have 1000 hp Supras and 1350 hp Skylines. I'm just wondering what the most powerful import cars out there are... If possible, ones that have been heavily modified, but don't include nitrous. Some nitrous injected ones would be cool to hear about, too, though.

At least 90% of the Supra's/Skyline's that come close to 1,000HP will have SOME kind of Nitrous system. They either use it for a) for low-end boost, to help spool-up the HUGE turbos that kind of power requires, or b) to spray onto their FMICs, to cool the intake charge even more, or c) to help the top-end even more, or d) any combination of the above or e) ALL of the above.

The record right now for a stock-block 2JZGTE (Supra motor) is about 980-something-wheel-HP, and just about a bit more for the RB26DETT (Skyline motor).

There are street twin-turbo Toyota V8's out there, though I don't know how much HP they're pushing. At the tracks, there's a set-up like that on a tube-chassis that's running equal times to NHRA's "pro-stock" class...about mid-6's. There's also a drag 2JZGTE that runs similar times.

On the average, it will be almost impossible to find a non-modified Supra, or even rarer, Skyline. I'm mentioning these cars since you are asking about HP-levels in the 1,000-range. Nissan's SR20DET's which come with the JDM Silvia's, and are a popular swap for 240SX's here in the U.S., have been proven to carry up to 750HP, at least in Japan. Same with the Toyota's 3SGTE, which is not bad, considering both motor's are 2-liter, 4-bangers. Lastly, there is also a street-legal 725wheel-horsepower Honda Civic hatchback in California, of all places, and there are a few street-registered 600+WHP Hondas running around the country.

There are two Skylines here in New Zealand both pushing over 1,300hp. One has a NOS Kit in it the other doesn't.

The nos kitted one uses a single T88-34D turbo charger with more mods that I can list. It is basiclly and HKS/TRUST catalog car. It's done an 8.69 et. It had dynoed 1,340 hp.

the other IS an HKS catalog car! I have no definate number to feed you guys but it is being completely rebuilt with the intent of 7's or quicker. He has done a 8.63 et and last I heard it was just over 1,300hp

That is bull. The link to the Soloar's I posted above are the world's fastest import cars.
4000HP would be faster than 6s. The Soloras are doing 6s with 1400 HP.

YES, and if it is too good to be ture, it probably is. There is a good REASON that sounds "unbelievable"

As for the world's fastest integra:

Chris Rado's INTEGRA Worlds fastest Integra. Featured on ESPN2 In The Drivers Seat. Look for this car at a track near you.

Rado is local to me. We used his shop to tune Hyde.

its not fake. they did a whole article with pictures of the car, engine block, turbo setup, everything down to the stoichiometry of nitro methane and the applications it works best for.

someone back me up on this.. i know im not the only one who saw the article. i think carrrnutt posted the thread, not sure though.

I did a search for Integra 4000 HP and found that.
Hey, I am great at admitting I am wrong but I would hardly call that car an Integra

Power

Neutrino, I was actually just curious about street cars, but these drag and track numbers people are saying amazing. I'm only wondering because I want to get myself a street racer someday, and knowing me, I'll end up blowing all my money on it. This is really just to feed my dreams...

Stock, as in nothing at all modified, not even electronics? That seems a little farfetched.
