Any problems with 04 spec?

Hi everyone. Does anyone have the 2004 spec yet? If so, have you had any Problems like the 02 specs and early 03 specs were having? I ordered my spec a couple weeks ago, it's currently being built, and I should hopefully have delivery by early November. I was just wondering if Nissan Corp fixed all the flaws in the production of this car. In the first production year of a vehicle problems do surface it's only nature.

sadly enough i do have some problems with my 2004 spec-v. i've already put a lot of mileage on it cause i have a problem with it making me want to drive it all the time. dude you're gonna love this car. it's so much fun.

all kidding aside the only two problems i have had with it are stupid things that happen often with brand new cars, their more defects than they are problems.

1-when you pick it up make sure the trunk release button on your keychain and on your dash works properly. i guess some of the factories forgot to compensate for the weight of the wing and they don't all work properly. they said that it was just a valet switch in the trunk that you have to shut off, that works when you're parked, but then when you drive the car for a little while, the valet latch reinstates itself because of the weight of the wing, i'm still waiting for my new latch.

2-my check engine light kept coming on and then it stayed on. it ends up that the feul/gas tank sensor (again in SOME factories) was faulty. you go to fill your tank up and a little while later it comes on due to the fact that the sensor thinks something is wrong. i had the sensor replaced and it did it again, so now i have to see about getting another sensor.

nothing else though just problems that can happen with new cars off the line. their not important problems just ones that cause headaches.
