First time here. Bought a used 1998 Accord last month. The maintenance light now stays on constantly. I do most of my own maint. anyway and don't want to put out the $ to a dealer. Car has 78K miles and is a 4cyl. Any help out there? Thanks in advance. - Don

not sure about accords but on civics, there is a slot in the guage cluster that your master key for the car slides into, and u push the key into it and it resets itself.
also if it is like integras there is a button under the drivers side dash, i believe, not sure tho.

Re: Maintenance Light
Quote:
Left hand press & hold select/reset button(trip reset) Right hand turn ignition on(do no start) Continue to hold button until it flashes then goes completely out. The maint. Req'd light will come on about every 7500 miles & is only a reminder light, not warning light. Maintenance should be followed for your driving conditions. |
