you can try www.arloautoaccs.com. Its my friends business so i'm sure he can get like 20% off. Just make sure though. Stage 3? He must be using it for track only. |

THNX guys!
We know they are not cheap but we're looking to get the net store that has decent price for them, he has everything done on his engine exept the uper part is now from ITR and he wants to go harder so he decide to go extreme with skunk stage3 (his original engine was 1.8 VTEC-170HP English version of civic 5door)... A few days ago he won a drag race in Croatia in class to 2.0 so he pick up award for wining and he'll put that money in his engine tuning... mellowboy: I'll try to contact that friend of yours cause on site he doesn't have skunk2 stuff CYA

u see thats why its a waste to get a type r motor, ok say you build a race motor, well ok u buy a type r motor, so u replace the cams, oh there goes your expensive type r cams, u replace the pistons, oh there goes your expensive type r pistons, u port polish the head, oh there goes yoru expesnive port polish, u buy a high flow intake mani, oh there goes your expensive tyep r intake mani.
so why buy a type r for 5000 when u can get a gsr to the same performance for a race motor for only 3000. dont waste all your money on a type r when u plan to just get rid of it to build a race motor. |

But you can always sell those ITR parts for expencive price,
cause in here in SLOVENIA it's practiclly imposible to get ITR engine, I've got in my B16a2 upper part from ITR but lower part is all performance (race pistons...) The same is with my friend that is buying those parts he changed the stock parts for ITR ones in his 1.8 VTEC engine and now he's selling for good price those parts and buying SKUNK2 parts he already bought skunk2 intake manifold so now he needs all the rest pisons are already MUGEN race... because there are differences in the type r motor that the GSR motor does not have gsr head does not flow as good (even when P&P a Type r head with P&P job will still flow better) larger combustion chambers on the type r motor micropolished crank on type r motor lightweight balanced rods on type r motor (not the same as gsr) better oil pump gear on type r motor better LMA's on type r motor better tranny on type r motor factory LSD on type r motor i could continue but i am sure you already know most of this stuff.....if he wanted to go econo mode he could have got a b16a, toda stroker kit and built the shit out of it from there, it would be similar to a built type r motor (which i am sure you already know too) |

Call DNR Performance, 510-783-5200 , they ship anywhere. The owner used to work for Skunkworks (before it became Skunk2) and they can get any Skunk2 products. I don't know if they have a website reason for the number. Ask for Dan (owner) or Ben (manager).
