Thumbs up Whats a Decent Alarm for my car???

I"m looking for a decent alarm to protect my 91 HB but there's so many good and bad ones. Just looking to see what you all have on your cars and if it's possible to install power door locks on my car.

Thanks

a good alarm is one that works.... Having had my car broken into 3 times this last year i bought a clifford alarm off ebay for $80. No thief is gonna sit around your car for an hour guessing which alarm you have and how to disarm it, hes just gonna be checkin to see if you do have one. But dont an any way think an alarm is gonna keep your car safe!!!!! I've had too many friends put those $250 alarms in their car and wake up to find their stereo and speakers missing.

I have the Alpine SEC-8028 that I had in my integra. It was used for a couple months, great alarm. I'd sell it to ya for less than half of what I payed for it. Payed $200, give it to you for $75. If you look this alarm up online you'll see that it's a great alarm. Let me know

Like it says above it has up to four independent remote controls, which means that you can hook it up to your windows or even your doors if you have the door popper kit. Shave your door handles, get the poppers, and you can open it with this alarm. Or you can do remote start if you get the remote start kit, trunk pop, whatever.

It's not too hard to set up, I don't have the installation manual for it, but on the back of the alarm it tells you what every wire is for, and I have a few papers on my computer that is copied from the manual that tells you everything you need to know to hook it up that I'd email to you.

The alarm will come with
-alarm brain
-all wiring
-siren
-impact sensor
-one key pad

I have this alarm 4 sale,It was half installed in my girlfriends Accord. The AS(alarm/starter), some of the wires have never been installed. she sold the car so we uninstalled it out. I have the same alarm in my car and i love it.

Yeah, I've got basically the same alarm as 4thGen4Door, but mine is made by Audiovox.

It's the Audiovox APS-996 paging alarm system. It kicks ass... Details and pics in the link in my sig.
