d series tranny question

i recently bought a tranny from a guy that had it as a spare for his 93 HB. can i use this in my 91 EX? JyNcE said he thinks its cable, but i wanted to check to be 100% positive. here are some pics of it in my girlfriend's trunk.

EDIT: pics won't work, and i can't get to the upload part of this site so i'll try this

That trans won't work for your car, since the civic got a hydraulic transmission in 1992. Your 91 has a cable, and unless you want to do the swapover for your car, it won't work. I'd say see if you can get your money back. Just so happens I have a killer transmission for sale that will work, check out the classifieds only thread...

BTW, your pics aren't showing up. I'll tell you for sure if you email them to me at [email protected]

i don't even think i want ot know what all is needed for hte crossover. i got a huge steal on this tranny (50 bucks with like 60K or so on it) so i may have to try and sell it.

i saw your tranny, will a ZC one work right up with my 1.6 motor? and what would shipping to 77844 look like? probably alot, but its good to have options
