Question Not sure what to do?!

Hey everyone, First time posting here, i was hoping i could get some help. I just sold my cavalier (good old jbody) in scope of getting somthing faster. Now, right now im looking at 2 cars: The stats are listed below. My question to you all is, which one would be a better overall car? What car would hold up better over time if treated well, etc. From what i've read, the transam is faster than the GT, and thats all fine, but both are better than my cavalier Would i notice a huge difference in speed? What im really looking for is acceleration. Im not going to be racing (maybe with some friends). I know that the Trans am has better torque and hp, but for 1 car is might not help as much as another. So im leaving it up to you guys. Thanks for your help in advance!
