B16A1 swap

Okay I just bought a CRX and I heard a B16A1 dropped right in. Well I was told wrong. I was wondering if I could get a list of everything i need to do this swap.

Here's the short answer, but do a search for more complete details:
Engine
Tranny
Mounts
Shift linkage
Intermediate shaft
Axles
ECU


There are other things, too, and they are out there in the old threads, also, if you visit some websites like www.hybrid.honda-perf.org you can get some good answers.

Let me solve your problem by buying my WHOLE COMPLETE swap for 1700 with axles, hcp 4 mount kit and hasport shift linkage.

Unhappy b16 swap

Alright guys..im doing a swap o my EK and i was going to go GSR but i can't afford that engine at the moment so i am going down to a b16 and i was wondering should i go b16a1 and bore it to liek a 1.7 or 1.8 litre or just get the b16a2. Reason im asking this is because im confused ove been getting a grip of advice but alot of it is diff. Thanks for your advice people.

just get a b18b, then when you get enough money build an ls-vtec setup. or save for the gsr. ls-vtec is pretty expensive but an ls by itself does have a lot of potential. something to think about.

I think you can use the one from the 2nd gen tegs, 90-93. Not totally sure, though. However, 1700 for everything is killer!

Yea I know they are the same...just the a1 is a lil more work and the a2 is a lil more expensive BUT its woth it cause it already comes with the hydraulic conversion kit and motor mount kit..

NO its not both generations are the same thing. there should be no extra work for the A1. trust me I know.
