I'm looking into buying a R/C car and the one thing I'm sure of is that I want it to be an electric motor. I was looking at Tower Hobbies and I was thinking of a Tamiya, but I'm really unsure of what to buy. To give you an idea of what I would need, I would like something fast, some what easy to maintain and lots of hop-ups (wheels, motor, tires) I'm not planning on racing it so I really don't want to spend more then $150 - $180. Also one other big thing is I cant paint worth a damn so I want one what has a pre paint-cut body or a real easy one. I'm not asking for race speeds but something fast that you could have lots of fun with, fun and a hobby is the main idea for me.

I would recomend the TL01 from Tamiya. Don't worry about painting it, its not hard, you paint them from the inside of the clear shell so even if you paint sloppy the color will still look great on the outside. With the TL01 all you need is ballbearings and a good motor and you'll have a great car.
