Has anyone painted their fuel covers or paid to have them painted? I was quoted $400
for smoothing & painting w/ 2 color flames. Thats too much $$$ for something that does nothing. So I think I'll try it myself on a spare set or I could buy smoothies for $250 - if they turn out nice I'll do the valve covers as well.

These are from AutoBuffs.net(New Jersey outfit)
Not cheap either. ![]() I think for 1-2 or maybe 3-colors you can do it yourself for maybe $50 in paint. But when you get into 2 and 3-dimensional themes it's best to have a pro do it. This was obviously airbrushed to get a 'waving' flag effect. I know I couldn't have done this...an 'Arteest' I am not

There are some nice looking things on that site
Im not into pin-stripes but this man can do both sides of a car in 30mins or less & its perfect. Then he signs his name so small you need a magnifying glass to read it & that shits perfect too.
