Unhappy Harmon-Karden installation

I bought all the parts to convert my wife's 328Ci to a Harmon Karden sound system. So far with just the amplifier and rear speakers installed,it ROCKS on CD!!
I have the rear Sub-woofers, but can't find the cable that connects to it. Where does BMW hide it in cars that do not have H-K installed? I had no problem installing the CD changer.

Also, I want the "SOUND" switch that is on the dash of 3 series with H-K. Anyone have one and is willing to sell it. I have the 3 space block-off panel I will trade for the 2 space one with the switch.

Talking

So far I have installed the rear speakers (my wife's car is a coupe) and the H-K amplifier. I'm looking for the sub-woofer cable.

BUT,,,,with the original door mid-woofers, mid and tweeters and rear
H-K mid woofers, the system sounds fantastic!

Apparently, the new cross-over frequencies suit the original speakers well. Plenty of bass and crisp mid and highs. I'm impressed. I am wondering if I should continue with the sub-woofer and door speaker installation.

Anyone with the original system, try simply an ebay H-K amp FIRST. You may be happy with it before you spend mega-bucks!
