Delco CD player problem ERR
I bought a 2002 Silverado with 39K miles, warranty out. I put a cd in the player worked fine, then I put a burnt CD-R in it played ok. I pushed button to go to next track I got ERR on the display and it spit my disc out. I called a dealer service dept. they wanted $175 to send it off for repair, and like $400 + to change with new. The thing kept buzzing so I took fuse out in the panel on driver side dash, no luck put it back in. I raised the hood and found another fuse to radio in the box on driver side fender. I took that radio fuse out and the buzzing stopped. I put the fuse back in and my ERR message went away and the CD player went back to WORKING!!
I hope this works for everyone else.
