HOW THE HECK DO YOU GET YOUR CAR ON FIRE?!?!? I raced this one guy and he had like a blue flame around the car i beat him 2 time but oh well that dont matter :-p

All I want to know is how or why is it on fire?

well its called an aura and it happens when you get a high battle level, not sure exactly how hight though. If you race 50 times and have your win percentage sorta high you get one.

Depends on who you race, if you just race normal people, you level slower. You beat someone with a rainbow aura (yeah right) and youre rank will probably skyrocket

When you reach a battle level of 11 or more, your aura appear, and the higher your lvl, the bigger your aura will be. Also, above lvl 20, your aura's color will be changing every other lvl.

As you progress through the game and steadily gain confidence in your driving skills the typical next step is usually to battle against other players. From battling other players and winning, your own "battle level" increases, this level can be seen in one of your menu folders where your car points and data is shown. When you reach level 11, you'll notice a small blue fire that surrounds your car at the starting animation. This is the battle aura.

Although the battle aura appears at level 11, not everyone will reach level 11 in the same amount of time or wins. Leveling speed varies among players and is dependant on a few factors. The most important of these factors is your opponent's battle level, the higher the level your opponent is, the faster you'll level up. More so, if you are victorious in the battle. However, I have encountered instances where a lvl 20+ won against a sub lvl 10 and the sub lvl 10 player's battle level still increased after losing.

Generally, from level 1-10, it takes about 5 wins per level. Also know that you can't level down until you reach level 11 so you don't have to worry about losing. From level 11-20 though, to level up it usually takes about 10 wins to level up, and from 20-30 though it could be anywhere from 15-20 wins per level. All this can change however, it just depends on how high the level your opponent is. The numbers listed before are based on if you're racing against lvl 1-5's and winning.

Another aspect of the battle auras is that they change their appearance as you increase level by level. From level 11-20, the aura actually increases in size by a small amount each time your level increases. After level 20 the color of the aura actually changes and follows the list below:
Battle Lv. 11-20 Blue aura
Battle Lv. 21-22 Dark Green aura
Battle Lv. 23-24 Violet aura
Battle Lv. 25-26 Orange aura
Battle Lv. 27 Red aura
Battle Lv. 28 Lemon aura
Battle Lv. 29 Purple aura
Battle Lv. 30 Emerald aura
Battle Lv. 31+ White aura / Rainbow if 10+ consecutive wins

DC2Master? u mean Initial D Version 2....yes, but i dont think you can win me on Myogi with my Skyline R34. Doesnt matter waht level, its the driver. Whats your fastest time on Akagi DH on Version 3 dc2master? with my skyline R34, its 2'27'xxx.
