battery seems dead?? help

hey

i have a brand new battery, alternator,

the problem is the gauge in the car is always reading under 13 volts/
I highly doubt the gauge is faulty.

what could cause the battery to drop so much? a/c , lights, radio is all off as well

are you reading this guage with the car on or with it in the ACC mode?

if the car is on, then your alt is not charging the battery correctly. if your in ACC mode, then your battery is overcharged.

put a voltmeter on the battery with the car runnin it will tell u if ur guage is bad or not...did u check ur connections at the alternator, ive seen the plug come out a few times on cars with that prob that came into the shop.
