Cool GT3 and 360 Modena with new rims...

Took a couple of older builds and added some new or different wheels.

The GT3 has a set of Modena rims, looked cool on my Boxster, so I tried 'em on the GT3...looks pretty good, eh?

This past week, I got a set of new "bootleg" resin Modena Challenge rims derived from the aluminum ones that are waaaay too $$. Thank you Veyron

The five-spokes look really nice on the GT3 - love the color too, btw. Do you have a thread out there on the GT3 build? Would love to see more pics.

Thanks, I built this long before joining A/F. Here's a pic of the rear, w/the old stock rims painted body color. I was never really satisfied w/the look.

I've got 2 1/2 more GT3's to play with, I want to build another in a less intense color than this-Black Gold Tangelo Pearl. This picture is kind of washed out, the new pic looks more like the model.

The aluminum ones were sent to Quick Skins in California, they make resin race cars and transkits. Not sure if they will be in their regular lineup or not. I didn't find a website on my quick search.

Thanks, the paint is from a company in Texas called Black Gold. They match House of Kolors paints for model cars. Their web address is: Black Gold Paint

This color is Tangelo pearl.
