you might be lucky to see 180hp at the engine and maybe 120lb/ft.

I would say about 10 hp's. If you want to pull some power out of the motor you will need to raise compression and do some headwork then you will gain hp in bigger numbers. (hint) the compression will do the most, you are at 10.4 right now and if you rais a full point you should gain about 20 hp or so.

seriously the b16a i would only gain 10 hp with aem cold air , dc header, full exahust, plugs and wires???? that's a pretty shitty gain?

You have added no power to your motor. period. Honda figures are based on an engine dyno, so when you add I/H/E your haven't added any part that makes more power, just parts that free up Hp that wasn't lost when it was rated before drive train and emissions loss. To make more than the rated Hp, you need to get more fuel/air into your combustion chambers and compress it into a smaller space. I have seen dynos for a B16A with I/H/E, ITR TB and IM, cams valvetrain, vafc, lightenfly, clutch touching just over 170. More often than not, they are in the 145-155 range with basic bolt ons..

thats true whtteg, a lot of power comes not from the parts alone but how well tuned it is. i head that tunning makes A LOT of difference.

track_assassin when you get your cam in you might want to gewt someone to tune your car, it will make a difference. There is a guy around here who will tune the car on a dyno with a wide band and program a chip for your ecu, or tune your hondata or safc/vafc. he charges like $100 hr but it usually only takes him 1hr or less so it is worth it int he long run
