240sx dash conversion?

Hey wassup. Its me again with another one of my s14 to s15 conversions . Anyway, i have an full S15 front clip with everything (engine, tranny, dash, cpu, basically everything from the dash up), and my 1998 dash isnt looking too good (previus owner had to do somethin to it because it is only 5 years old and it looks like sh*t). So i was wonderin, since i have pretty much everything, can i do a complete rhd conversion?? The only problem (which is quite a large 1 ) is that since its from an S15, Im not sure that it will fit (since mine is a 1998 US spec 240sx SE). Would i have to use the S15 firewall, can i even do that??? I reely do not know antything about that kind of conversion (as you can tell) and i dont want it to look worse than it is already. I dont want to waste wat i payed for so thats the only reason i would use the 15 dash. If it wont fit, does any1 want to buy a KA wit trans and a S15 dash???

i want one yo. a s15 dash would be tite on my 90 240.

i could paint it bright orange, and have the hood pink.

then i could get some nice hood pins.

rhd is cool yo.

haha j/k. rhd setups are completely tite and you could pull of a s15 on an s14, i dont know what work is involved tho. prolly a good amount. you have to completely relocate that steering column......

Aight I prob will do it but i stil need info, lol. Does anyone know if it will fit right??? thats my only prob. I have the complete front clip so i have the steering column and the front axle, BUT, will it fit? lol I dont want to completly gut the inside of the car (dash and unhook the cpu, harness) just to find out that it doesnt fit, lol. Any info would be great. thanx and if i get it down, i will definitly brag, err, post pics

Basically my front clip is exactly this, without the special edition shards of glass splattered around, man thats nice

Why would you have to replace the streering column, you don't have to do it when putting in an sr20,why would you have to do it if he used the front clip dash.Anyways,I haven't heard of this being pulled off in a Us Spec 240sx,but here is my theory. The 240sx you have is equivalent to a S14 pretty much, you have an S15 dash, you will have to use the S15 firewall most likely,or modify your 240sx's.How you can get an S15 firewall to fit,I don't know, they are somewhat different. It will probably not drop in place of your S14's,but with some mods I'm sure you can pull it off.You should also be able to get the dash in their with some work,I'm not too sure.Your best bet is to take measurements, measure everything, that should tell you if it would drop in or not.But I believe you can do it,it will just take some homework.

Ok...Since i know nothing about this type of RHD conversion, i need the info, lol. Has anyone ever done an S13 LHD to RHD or a S14 LHD to RHD? Since this is a 14 to 15, i bet it will be 10 times harder. Anyway, what is needed to do those types of conversions (staying within the same models)? Once i have that info, all i have to do is change some stuff around since its from a 14 to 15. Ive been tryin to find a site with that kind of info on google but i cant find it. Could i use the steering colum+axle from my s15 front clip so i dont have to modify the steering? I already have the s15 spec SR if that matters. Oh 1 more question, How come Mail trucks are right hand drive?? Thats tight JDM

I hope this is NOT a serious question, but if it is....drive down your street and notice where the mail boxes are.
