Need a suggestion...
My 1999 Camry won't eat! Even if gas tank is almost empty, fuel backs up filler tube and "vomits" out around gas pump nozzle. I can force feed gas in verrrry slowly if I pause every quart or so. I took the rubber hose loose that connects gas tank to filler tube. No obstruction between cap and tank... Using a small mirror, I could see a little trap door inside the tank, presumably to keep gas from sloshing back on a hill. Dosen't look replaceable. Any fixes short of replacing the tank? |

Ummm, not sure if you noticed, but this is the Celica board. You might have more luck asking in the Camry boards.
