Question Alternator Swap Possible?

I just got the deal of a lifetime! A friend of mine had a very nice 93 S10 Blazer 4 Door with the 4.3L W Vortek. He had an accident with it that damaged the driver's front corner. He was told the frame was bent and the motor was shot. Everything besides the grill, bumper, and driver's fender is perfect. He sold it to me for $200. Not bad for a vehicle that I started up and drove home. I even wore the tape off of the 4 new tires on the way home.

Anyhow, it did have a burnt valve so I bought another 4.3 from a 94 S10 Blazer. $100!! I swapped the heads and it runs great. But, the alternator is dead probably from the thing sitting for the last 4 years.

the 94 has an alternator on it but it takes a different connector. Is there anyway to use this alternator? Hate to buy a new one when I have a perfectly good one here that could possibly work. I think the 93 is a CS-130 and the 94 is a CS-130D.

Any help would be appreciated.... Fix this and time to buy some body parts.....

RacinGodd...

A work in progress .. Very nice shape .. Guy didn't know what he had and was misinformed . Bought for $200. Bought a complete 94 motor ($100) and swapped heads. Runs and looks great!
