The DC bars are accent bars, have no real stiffening qualities.

Spending that much on Shock tower bars is really not worth it.
Comptech does not make a rear bar because, it shows no real benefit for Civics and Integras. That's based on chassis testing.

As far as the best functional bars for the price.

Neuspeed, Comptech Sport, and Mugen.

wait, am i missing something? did you just say it's not worth it to spend that much on a Mugen bar, but then you said as for price and function, Neuspeed, Comptech, and Mugen would be the best buy? Not flaming or anything, just didn't understand.

Neuspeed makes nice tie bars which actually do some bracing unlike others on the market. Whats the point of adding a "brace" if the ends are hinged & move? To look cool? I think NOT!

Your better off adding or upgrading the rear sway bar IMO - tie bars should be added last to the suspension/chasis.

Those are the best bars in that order. However, I don't feel the mugen bar is worth that price, when you can have a Neuspeed bar that will be just as rigid for 1/3 the price.

Sorry for the confusion. I agree as well a sway bar namely in the rear would be much better.

I would NOT get any DC sports strut or tie bars. You couldn't even pay me to put them on my car. Simply put, they are crappier than a $30 generic or even a stock GSR strut bar. DC bars are hinged just like the cheapest of bars are, AND they also FLEX under the lightest of loads exurted upon them. If you lean on one, it WILL flex, imigine what the force of your chassis will do to the bar when cornering. I know this from experience with them, and seeing it first hand myself. Neuspeed, and Comptech both make the best design and strongest strut bars I have seen.

Spoon is good of course. Either of those companies (Spoon, Mugen, Comptech, or Neuspeed) will make quality products that aren't aimmed to look good and that's all, They actually make FUNCTIONAL parts. DC just makes show parts IMO, even their headers, not the best of design according to many I've heard. Think about it, $1000 roughly worth if I/H/E parts just for a lousy 11hp gain on an Si B16 motor. How pathetic. I can get that same gain on my D16 with a $65 re-ground 262 cut angle cam and be better off. I mean yeah their exhaust systems are nice, but their headers are over priced, and so is their intakes. Actually IMO AEM intakes are way over priced too, but that's irrelivant in this argument. Look around and different strut bars and you should be able to tell by design alone which ones are good, and which are crap. I have a Neuspeed 4-point polished bar under my hood, and it's not the prettiest or most colorful out there, but I can tell you, it does it's job it's intended for, and does it very well I might add. Of course with my 22mm ITR rear swaybar in place, I can't really tell what my strut bar does for me anymore. Something to think about... Simply put, a rear swaybar (or upgrade of one) will do WAY more than all 4 strut bars (front and rear upper/lowers) will ever do, and at a MUCH cheaper price too.
