Lowering my 240sx
Hey i was wondering how low i can lower my 1990 240sx before i have to worry about camber.. i'm gonna go with lowering springs they will drop the car abuot 1 3/4 inches. also gonna be replacing my struts with some nice 5 way adjustables at the same time as the lowering springs.. and would love to have the cash to put sway bars but that will have to wait.. eventualy i'll get those.. and do the ever popular sr20det swap.. and not even to whip on all the puny hondas of the world but just because i love they way it feels..screw racing..i love to drive..=)

i lowered my car with sportlines and agxs, the rode real nice, but the camber in the rear was kinna like ehh--- so the wear on the back tires was kinna like ehh
1 3/4 inch should not be that bad of camber and plus , whats wrong with camber LOL, back in the day when we used to race with datsun 510's, we intentionaly busted the camber so when the car cornered, the tires lay flat on the track INCREDIBLE HANDLING! so go fuck up your camber with a camber kit and some adjustable control arms. have some fun

Only thing wrong with a camber is the wear on tires =) but thats not even that bad.. unless you get MAJOR camber and enjoy drifting/burn outs =) but i'm looking at getting some Eibach Springs and from what they say thay drop 2.2 in. lowering front, 2.1 in. lowering =) so taking the stock ground clearance from 6 in to 3.8 and 3.9 will be exactly where i want it =) was aiming for 4 in. which is what my 1991 300zx had and i loved they way it handled and i plan on making this thing make that look like a joke heheh

make sure you upgrade struts before or when you drop it... otherwise your struts will break, crack, leak, etc.
if you cut springs it will be one bouncy ride intrax are pretty cheap, thats what i have on mine. no probs.
