custom fuel return line or not?????
i am working on a custom turbo application for my 2000 kia sephia but it has a returnless fuel system.this poses my biggest problem that i have found yet,i have narrowed it down to 2 options
1.custom return line i will have to eather find a good mounting place on the fuel rail or drill a hole for the return line, then i will have to route the line back to the gas tank. or 2.i have found out from my kia mechanic that inside the gas tank there is a stock fuel presure regulator connected to the fuel pump, this stock peice has a return line and another lie to the engine.my idea was to take off the the stock presure regulator and install a rising rate fuel presure regulator unit and also replace the pump with an upgraded unit as well. my main question is would option #2 work even though the return line is not connected to the fuel rail??????? thanks
