Question 94 Integra Trim Levels?

Hi, I'm new here and new to the Integra scene as well. I previously had a 97 Honda Civic with a few visual mods but nothing in the way of performance. I picked up this months issue of HCI and I feel in love with the Center Fold Car. Anyone that doesn't have a copy on hand, it's a 97 Integra owned by the guy who apparently created bodykits.org.

I have been reading posts, doing some research and deciding on what I want. I am planning getting a 'teg with the B18B and doing some light internal work and hooking that up with a Turbo kit. I am only planning on doing the 12psi boost, which would work on stock internals. However the cars in my current price range (this is gonna be along project) have ticked off over 140k and I'd rather take longer and build up the guts before I boost, rather than replace the whole thing later.

Anyway, onto my question. So I'm looking at an LS or an RS. From what I've read, the engines are the same. So can anyone tell me the differences in these trim levels? I have looked on the net breifly and I haven't found anything.

Thanks.

Basically the only thing different that I know of is the RS has no ABS but I think it still has power windows and locks. The SE also has the same motor but it has leather etc.

Actually, I'm not sure of the year-I think 98'-but the RS came standard with ABS after a certain year. It was either 96 or 98 but I'm leaning toward 98.
Did the RS come with a sunroof? I don't think an RS can come with a spoiler either, not sure about that.

I am not sure about the abs thing but I know that I have seen some RS's that have sunroofs. And yea I forgot about the spoiler thing, heck my teg did not have a spoiler when I got it I just put one from a GSR on there, shhh don't tell anyone

Thanks, that helps out. So basically I'm looking at no ABS for an RS. The RS I am looking at has a sunroof and spoiler. Not sure if the spoiler is OEM but it does look like it would be.

So this is 94 RS with 177k on the OD. Interior is fair/good from the pics... not excellent. The exterior looks pretty clean with the exception of some cancer on the right rear quarter (about 50 cent piece to a dollar in width and about a 1/2in. in height).

They are asking $3,900 at a dealership. If I could talk em down to $3,200 would it be worth it?

Even though it's a good price, I would pass on that one. That's a lot of miles, and when you start doing mods and getting more HP out of it thats when things tend to blow. Especially if there is ANY rust on any car you look at pass that one by.
Anything with less than 150K would still be good. And look for maybe a LS or GS, that way you have ABS. You can find killer deals, you just have to look harder. I saw a 95 GS go for 3500, I think it had about 120K miles on it. That's the kind of thing you want. NO RUST, you're only asking for trouble if you buy a car with rust.
