Where can I find general MR2 info?

I've been a Honda fanatic for a long time, but due to the increasing rarity and cost of B-series engines, I've begun to consider other brands. Where can I find some in-depth information on MR2's, i.e. stock vehicle specs, pricing, engine swap info, engine codes and specs, etc? Thanks.

This car in general is a fairly rare find. It's not impossible to get your hands on it, but it's pretty uncommon. First gen MR2s are somewhat common though, and they can be had relatively cheap and usually easily found in stock form.

other vehicles to check out out
toyota supra (3rd gen; early 90's body style)
mitsubishi eclipse
nissan 300zx
nissan 240sx (s13; 89-94)
mitsubishi 3000gt
bmw m3 (early/mid 90's)

and btw...there is only one well known swap for the mr2 and it only adds 40hp and it's usually (always to my knowledge) done to the second gen. pretty much 3s-gte is the best engine for the car and the one that is already in a turbo mr2 is damn good at 200hp, the jdm 240hp 3s-gte is just an updated version.

some specs can be found at www.edmunds.com

Thanks for the info, fellas. How much could I expect to pay for a complete 3SGTE swap?

Thanks...that site only has Nissan motors on it, but that's ok, becuase my brother has a 240sx and he's in the market for an SR20 front clip. I'll email the site to him.
