'91 HB Vs. '94 Coupe-CIVICS Handling corners?

Hey, for handling and cornering what would you guys say would do best?

I first started my civic rave in 01 with a 01 civic coupe... I loved that car, it was dope and pretty fun and quick...
ya, I thought it handle great, but untill I had to sell it and get something I could afford for insurance,
I bought a 94 coupe and I know that my 94 coupe would definetly out handle my 01... is that weird, I dont think so... I love my 94 much more, but it's supper slow.
Im looking to get rid of my 94, because it's an A/T as opposed to the M/T. yep, I told its slow.
So I am looking to sell this civic for top $ and go get either a 91 HB or another 92-95 coupe, either with a bad motor and tranny.
then with the extra $, take my new civic to my garage and drop in a new motor and tranny. I have no idea what motor to drop in, but I want something fast... atleast 15s 1/4 mile, if not 14's... hey and Id be satisfied with a sick 13's. then Id be mr. testy to all those rich prix in their Porsches and benz rodsters... that'd be dope.

So, now that you know what my intentions are fella's, hit me back and let me know what you guys think. personally I am satisfied with my 94 coupe with my 17's, but I gotta admitt, I am a newby to the sick import world! Hook me Up! peace

I would have to say that they are about the same. The hatchies tend to corber better than the coupes, due to a stiffer frame from the whole top being covered, but between my 92 coupe that i had and the 89 that i have now, there is not much difference. it will depend largely on what you put under it for springs, shocks, tiebars, stiffeners, etc. I would have to say, that if I had my choice, and all the funds to do either, i would do boosted b18c1 in a 92-95 coupe. it's a super simple swap, almost no changes to be made at all, and you have a crazy fast car with a lot of potential. But, if you want something (in my opinion) that looks better, go with the 4th gen. i love the lines and the body style, and the 5th gens just look funny, to me. just my $0.02.

id say it mostly depends on ur tires, when i wewnt from snow tires to hankook h101s i couldnt believe it. i can hit a four way stop corner doin like 60-80 kms/h and up and still hold without squealing the tires

Hey, that's a sick hatchi! hey, whats the difference between the 90 cx civic and the 91 HB? the lines look identical... tell me about it, what kind of mods and how fast is it... 1/4 mile and all that...
Now Im totally debating on one or the other... 91HB/92-95 coupe.

Ok, you said that the b18c1 is considerably an easier swap, as opposed to dropping a b16 motor in a 92-95 coupe... because I heard that with this swap, that Id have to get an extended motor mount to hold that b16 motor, then also change the drive line to integra cv boots/shafts/joints... ya, the guy who told me that, just said it'd be easier just to throw a turbo/inner cooler kit on the stock motor... then you'd get the same hp as a b16 without the hassle... Sooo, here's my Q

What needs to be considered when swapping the 16L D series Vtec motor and tranny for the b18c1 motor and tranny?

Ok also, ya I dig the 91 HB... is there an easy or easier B series motor swap for the HB? or is it just as difficult and time consuming?

What do you think about the turbo on the stock motor Idea?

Hit me back yo - peace.

First question there is no diffrence betwwen the 90-91 bodies, theire exatcly the same. the diffrence between the cx(std) and si is the si has WAYYYY moree options and has a 1.6 instead of my 1.5 . For your other questions i really dont have many engine mods, mostly interior. The biggest thing i did on the exterior is shaved the mouldings and painted the mirrors and bumpers. The biggest thing on the interior is my SI seats and my painted interior. as for engine...... hahah painted injection plate. Thats why im selling it, rather have a 1.6 and go from there And for the last question ive never fone the quater mile. but a 1.5 would blow nutz in it, run like a 30 second
