for max power and sound from exhaust
ok i got a 96 integra special edition only a few weeks go, and the down payment sort of destroyed my bank account, but now that i am reay to start with the mods one thing i want to get is an exhaust. now a few people have said a few things to me, first of all a kid i know has a 97 tiburon with 3 inch muffler and it sounds disgusting, that thing pops and backfires so much. i dont konw if it is cuz of the muffler size or just cuz it is a tib. what would be the best exhaust system for me to get to add max HP and best sound?

First of all, you need to figure out the future mods of your car. If you are planning on going forced induction, or all motor, or just throwin the basics on there. To be on the safeside, if you want a louder exhaust, go with the straight through design. If you want a quieter, then a twin-pass, but be warned the twin pass exhaust is more expensive. I say, go with a 2.25 to 2.50 inch exhaust...but no bigger, unless going with forced induction.
