The Stage II kit is going to be even sicker, it will have 80 more hp over the Stage I Turbo, I'm saving my money and waiting for it on the 5th gens, they said that it is coming/they are working on it now.

Man that seems a little unsafe having around 385hp at the front wheel. Man how about would that be having the turbo that is desinged for the rwd VQ35 on the Maxima now try controling nearly 460hp.

You're second question or statement was kinda retarded so I couldn't really understand what it is you were trying to say, can you rephrase the question and ask again?
There's nothing unsafe about having 385hp at the FW other than someone who has an extremely lead/heavy foot stomping on the pedal and just burning out powersliding all over the place.

I think that the Stage II is definitely going to be the shizzy. I image that it has to be at least 470 hp to the crank.

Second one was a statment and I dont think it will be getting that much. There has been some problems trying to keep the rwd VQ35 from not blowing up. Apperently top secret motor has blown at least 3 or 4 engines trying to get their tt system to work. About stage two Thrasher said it was going to only have about 80hp more than stage one so that means its would be around 385 and that pretty good but you have to be one hell of a driver to keep the car straight from all the tq steer unless some how they can minimize it or just move the car to an awd setup like the Murano is.

stage 2 is just too much power for FWD...even 300 hp at the wheels is waaaaaaay too much. my car (3.5) has about 230, stock, and i have torque steer. imagine trying to come out of a corner with your foot on the throttle and 300+ ponies under that foot. no thanks. if you want a drag car, get a G35 6sp or a Z

I agree that is too much power unless you somehow make it a awd drive car. I read a review for the 04 Maxima and they said two of the worst features of that car was a good amount of tq steer and a terrible turning radius. If there is a way to remove it other than making it a awd or rwd then I would like to see it. But if you want a turbo VQ35 then get a G35, Z350 or FX35.

There is at least one 500Hp turbo 97 Maxima on the street, but the mods to the VQ30 were very involved. The block had to be bored, which means new pistons and rods and crank shaft. The new manifold is a gimme if you add Turbo. New breather, oil cooler, trans cooler, intercooler. It was about 11k for the engine mods. Then I would put serious thought into oversized cross drilled disc brakes - that means 17" or 18" rims and definitely the H rated tires are not enough. As cool as it sounds, I would hate to drive a FWD car with that much juice. It would scare the #%# outta me. You would only screw up once.
