new to modelling

well, actually, i have been making models for quite some time, but they weren't serious ones. i didnt really care about detail such as paint. now, i just finished placing an order at HLJ. what do you guys think?

AOS24492 AME Modelart Excellent (18in)
AOS30226 GT Wing 3pcs Set
GNZJ-033 Mr. Color Spray #33 Flat Black
TAM24087 Nissan 300ZX Turbo
TAM87026 Super Surfacer Primer
TAM87053 Tamiya Putty Basic Gray
TAM87061 Metal Primer Spray
TAMTS-18 Tamiya Color Spray: Flourescent Red
TAMTS-26 Tamiya Color Spray: Pure White
TAMTS-29 Tamiya Color Spray: Semi Gloss Black

is there anything i should add to this? or is this all i need for a first "real" model? (keep in mind, i dont have too many supplies). do i need to buy a clearcoat or compound or wax? Do I need the metal primer or can i take that out? and do i need a scriber? thanks in advance for the help.

Well, you'll need more
styrene glue
needle files (or nail file)
Tamiya sand paper set (fine) a set of 1200, 1500 and 2000 grit

It's nice to have...
Gunze Mr. Thinner and Mr. Tool Cleaner
decal setting solution
clear glue
carbon fiber decal
seat belt kit

You don't need metal primer, unless you use metal or photo etched parts.

Clearcoat is mainly for metallic colors (such as Mica red, metallic blue etc.) compound and wax are something you should have always, IMO.

Since you are using synthetic lacquer, compound and wax can be substituted with scratch remover and car wax, available everywhere. Also, get fine fabric, such as eye glass cloth.
