That sounds like such a cool idea. I might have to do that with some of my friends, even though I know I'll win.

Make it a drag car. More specifically:

Glue the stock bumbers to the body, then cut the front end off at the front edge of the doors carefully with many passes of a razor blade so they can still fit together. Grind out the entire body shell until it is very thin, or at least a convincing representation of fiberglass. Attach the headlamp and tallamp lenses and sand them smooth to the body. Prime the body, and paint it, in a glossy but not shiny paint scheme. Use a stand-out color like red, yellow, or light blue. Find a set of tuner decals (someone here sells a very nice set) and place them all over the car rather haphazardly. Paint the headlamps and taillamps onto the body with simple reds, whites, and silvers. Scratchbuild a tube chassis with your choice of brass tube or styrene rod. Fabricate an aluminum body pan from styrene sheet and use more styrene rod to make a 6 point roll cage. Liberate a seat from a race car, as well as some nice looking electronics. Use more styrene to blank out the dash, and put a monster tach right in the middle of the instrument cluster, and place some guages on the center consol angled toward the driver. Use clear plastic sheet like what is provided in Revell kits for FAL windows. Build up the motor, either all motor or turbo. Turbo is far more complex and impressive. Make turbos the size of a 1:25 scale person's head. Cover them in heat sheilding wrapping, and dump the exhaust ahead of the front wheels. The front wheels should be enormous slicks, the biggest you can fit under the hood. A Revell gasser would donate a perfect set of wheels for the big and littles. Be sure to spray the chrome wheels with dullcote for that magnesum look. Display the front end next to the car so everyone can admire your handiwork on the engine. For bonus points, rotate the engine 90 degress, and power the rear wheels.

Hope you like my ideas.

It's not cheating in my book.

Anyway, I like the drag idea. If you couldn't do that though, you could do something with a system like I'm doing with my mustang. It's not hard. Just cut out the back seats and replace them with styrene and subs. With the hatch though, you could carry speakers throughout the hatch area. I'll attach a pic of my mustang so far. You could try to make your own custom roll cage or maybe just roll bar. From there you could add racing seats and do a custom interior paint scheme. For the outside, you could order FOTW's Widebody kit. I think his kits are around $14 with shipping to the US in US dollars. Not a bad price at all for the great quality of work he does...I just have to get around to making an order. With Rims, the possiblilities are endless. You can even find spinners on those Jada Toys things now, I think. You could do a catchy paint scheme from there. Just my throw in's, but the drag car idea would be pretty sweet if you pulled it off correctly!

I have told them about this site like 1000000000 times. I told them that if they wanted they could look at anywhere. Even this little part. So its not cheating. And can anybody tell me how to do a widebody kit???

http://www.briansmodelcars.com/tutor...D=13&CurPage=1 That's the tutorial I used for my roll bar in the Mustang. It's just a bar, not full cage. Be sure you use some wire inside the tube so that it won't collapse or distort when you bend it. That worked well for me. Hope that helps.
