Talking Datsun 810

Hello Everyone,

I recently purchased a Datsun 810 2 door coupe and am having a great deal of difficulty finding any information on the web. Is there anyone out there who has one of these? I am specifically looking for modification information as well as mechanical interchangability with other Datsun/Nissan models.

Specs:
Engine:6 cyl. OHC L24E 2393 cc
2.4L fuel injection
Electronic ignition
5 speed gearbox
semi trailing arm rear suspension

Any help/Info would be greatly appreciated!

More info...

Hello again,

I have found some info on the 810 and thought I would post it here in case someone else is looking for it.

The 1981-1984 Maxima also has the L24E 6 cylinder engine, as does the japanese Nissan Laurel.

The 810 is also known as: 180B (U.K.) 200B (Australia) and the Bluebird (japan).

I have more information on my 810 site: http://1969kghia.tripod.com

If anyone comes across any mods for the 810, please post them here or e-mail me: ghianut1969(at)aol.com

Hello- I don't have any factory literature that states horsepower and torque ratings but I did find a site (http://www.geocities.com/motorcity/p...3/engines.html) that lists horsepower for the L24E at 124?HP. Assuming that is correct then the L24E would produce approximately 125 ft/lb of torque @ 5200 RPM. If you find more accurate (factory ) info then could you please post it here? Also, do you own a '78 810 or do you need the info for a possible engine swap? Just curious...
