Best Coil Overs??
I want to add a lowering, performance coil over system to my Honda Civic Ex coupe.
What would be the best application for my car? (considering i want a good overall app.) ...good features, ease of use, performance, ride...etc

i say tein.....right now im riding on regular ractive coil overs on stock struts...cant go very low but hey the ride still feels like im riding on reagular lowering springs.

From personal experience, I'd have to say Tein all the way! Fits into every single one of the catagories you want in a good suspension setup. I even had a chance to talk it up with a couple tech reps from Tein in person at D1 Grand Prix yesterday, and now I'm even MORE glad I got them over any other setup. Just the possibilities with them is damn near endless.

Im looking into lowering my 95 civic ex 2d coupe and i was wondering whether i should get coilovers or loweing springs....and for those of you that have put them on yourself if you could email me a little of what all it takes to put them on ...you'd be helpin me out alot...thanks

Performance/lowering spings & good shocks are best for street driving & some race useage.
True coilevers are better for race & some street useage. They can also be a hassle for street set-up Coilovers would be the best choice & the most expensive - spring/shocks are also good & slightly cheapier There are some coilovers designed for the street Coilovers sleeves are best used for nothing IMO. Dont try and be cheap with whatever you choose, do it right the 1st time & spend the extra money for good stuff. Would a marathon runner use K-mart shoes when running long distance? NO! Get the best you can afford, if you cant afford good save til you can. Stick with well-know companies like: Eibach, Neuspeed, H&R, KYB, Bilstein, Koni, Tokico, Tein - I'm sure I forgot some but you get the point. bah my sleeves werent cheap......they were almost $275 lol....cheap when compared to tein or h&r but still of better quality than those damn $75 one you find at the low quality stores aka ricky racer!
