Painting M# Mirrors

Hey Peoples.

I have some unpainted m3 mirrors that i need to get painted white to match the rest of my '96 Civic EX. There is only one question I have. I took it to the shop to get a quote, and they said that since I have the LED model that has the blinkers on the front of them, they could either mask the blinker part off and I could risk peeling later on, or I could figure out how to remove the blinker cover, so they could just paint over the edges and then I could reinstall the blinker part.

MY QUESTION IS: If anyone has m3 mirrors, how do i remove the plastic covering the LED's? There are no visible screws. Should I just try prying it off? I will attach a pic tomorrow when it is light out so you guys can get an idea. Please post any suggestions for now. Thanks.

Pry that sh#t...

I bought those exact same mirrors for my 95 Accord. I had to paint them to only i did them myslef. Unless your gonna make your car a show car I recommend painting yourself with some quality paints and clear coat finish. No one has ever known mine were not done by a body shop. But anyways just pry the mirror of, it has clips like you may expect, then from there the rest is easy, a few screws here and there and your set. GOOD LUCK!
