Tire pressure monitoring
Greetings,
Has anyone out there installed tire pressure monitoring units in their cars? I'm giving some thought to adding the units to each wheel and wanted a little feedback from anyone who has done this already. I'd be interested to know the brand of the equipment and the cost. I have a good tire shop locally who can do the work but I have not stopped by yet. I was hoping to get a little info first. Thanks for any input. Remote tire pressure readings
After having to purchase a new 35 series/18" Michelin Pilot Sport ($325.00!) for my wife's 2001 Mercedes SL500, I also purchased the remote tire pressure reading kit from Tire Rack. Installation was a piece-of-cake (especially if you have the use of a tire shop) and the unit's been operating flawlessly. I highly recommend it....
