Talking engine reinforcement

I'm about to purchase an H22a and I want to maximize the efficiency of the engine. I plan on running high boost and I need to know what kind of engine mods and what kind of reinforcement I can do to the block and head to keep it together.

Block guard is a good idea - http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t16243.html

Use ARP studs instead of the bolts for the engine.

Block guard is only a band-aid. You need to resleeve the block, maybe close the deck, and get Eagle or Crower rods and JE pistons. Wiseco or Arias make good pistons too.
But yes the ARP studs are a good idea. Also get ARP rods bolts too.
