Engine bogs upon starting

my engine in my 1991 acura integra starts up rough after long periods of sitting like over night. i took off the back section of my exhaust and when it starts up it sounds like a motorcycle until it warms up some. if i give it gas in neutral it seems to help it warm up. i was thinking it could be the fuel injectors getting clogged or something and each time i start the car it is spitting the fuel out of the injectors until they clean out instead of spraying the fuel. could this be the problem???

how do you know that they are spitting it out and not spraying, cuz you say when it starts it does thta, you cant really start it and watch the injectors spray pattern at the same time.

i said that i THOUGHT it could be that. i haven't watched the spray pattern. you must have not read it right. i was making a suggestion to what the problem COULD BE to see if someone agreed.

I read it right, i just interpreted it wrong, I thought you knew that happened, and wondered if that could be why it bogs down.
